INTRODUCTION ABOUT OILATUM EMOLIENT LIQUID
Oilatum Emollient Liquid is used to manage eczema, dry and itchy skin conditions associated with contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis and senile pruritus. Also, it helps to soothe, soften and hydrate the skin. It contains light liquid paraffin as an active ingredient to replace oil and water that hydrates the skin.
Light liquid paraffin produces a thin occlusive film in the stratum corneum (outer skin layer) that manages the loss of moisture from skin surface. Thus, helps to manage dry skin.
Always use Oilatum Emollient Liquid as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. It should always be used with water, either added to bath water or rubbed onto wet skin. For adult bath, add 10ml to 30ml of emollient liquid to 8-inch (20cm) bath of water, rinse well and pat dry. For infant bath, add 5ml to 20ml of emollient liquid to a basin of water (approx. 15 litres), apply gently over the body with sponge and pat dry. For shower, rub a small amount of emollient liquid onto wet skin, rinse lightly and pat dry.
