Introduction About OCUBREX EYE DROPS
OCUBREX EYE DROPS is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Naphazoline and Zinc Sulphate which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-Allergic, Astringent, Decongestant and Antiseptics respectively. It is used for the temporary relief of redness and discomfort due to minor eye irritations and relives burning and irritation caused due to dryness of the eye. Your doctor may advise you to undergo relevant tests and examinations to understand your condition.
OCUBREX EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma of the eye. Before using OCUBREX EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you have hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, infection, or injury.
OCUBREX EYE DROPS should be used with caution in women who are pregnant and breastfeeding. OCUBREX EYE DROPS should be used with caution in children and elderly patients. The most common side effects of OCUBREX EYE DROPS include temporary burning and stinging upon instillation. OCUBREX EYE DROPS is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Naphazoline and Zinc Sulphate. Chlorpheniramine blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy and teary eyes. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a lubricating formulation like natural tears which provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Naphazoline belongs to decongestant that narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Zinc sulphate works as an antiseptic to clear bacterial infections in the eyes and relieve irritation.

Use OCUBREX EYE DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Instill a few drops of the medicine into the eye as advised by your doctor. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of the infection.
