Introduction About OCCUFRESH
OCCUFRESH is a combination of Polyvinyl Alcohol and Povidone which belongs to the group of medicines called Ophthalmic lubricant and Antiseptic agents respectively. It is used as an ocular lubricant in to provide relief from burning and irritation caused due to dryness of the eye.
Before using OCCUFRESH, inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart disease. Consult your doctor before using.
There is no proper information regarding the use of OCCUFRESH during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Consult your doctor before using.
Your doctor will prescribe the right dose of depending on your age, body weight and health condition. Consult your doctor before using OCCUFRESH.
The most common side effects include irritation, blurred vision, and watery eyes. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye and if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult your physician for advice.

OCCUFRESH helps in relieving the symptom of dry eyes, where Polyvinyl Alcohol is an ophthalmic lubricant which increases the persistence of tear film which lubricates and soothes the dry eyes. Povidone is an Antiseptic agent which acts on the bacterial cell and causes its destruction by inhibiting its vital processes hence, protecting against infections of the eye.
