This acne spot corrector gel is formulated with:
Thymol: Synthetically derived, monoterpene phenol derivative of cymene. They are also found in oil of thyme and monarda.
Terpineol: Synthetically derived, monoterpene alcohol. They are also isolated from sources such as cajuput oil, pine oil, and petitgrain oil.
Thymol perforates bacterial cell membrane and Terpineol inhibits efflux pump of bacteria preventing bacteria from flushing out the AMs. Thymol and Terpineol synergistically kills acne causing bacteria. TT-2 technology does not harm beneficial bacteria and maintains skin’s natural microbiome.
The spot corrector should be directly applied only on the active acne or inflammation. Its gel-based texture gives the skin a cooling effect.
