Introduction About NORFLOX TZ TABLET

NORFLOX TZ TABLET is a combination of Norfloxacin and Tinidazole which belong to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Antiprotozoal agents respectively. It is used in the management of diarrhea and dysentery of amoebic, bacterial, or mixed origins.

Before taking NORFLOX TZ TABLET, inform your doctor if you have lung, liver, or kidney disease or heart disorders. NORFLOX TZ TABLET is not recommended for patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions, tendinitis, or tendon rupture, organic neurological disorders, or a history of blood dyscrasia. NORFLOX TZ TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Contact your doctor before taking the medicine.

NORFLOX TZ TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking. NORFLOX TZ TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients aged above 65 years, especially patients with renal impairment. Contact your doctor before taking. The most common side effects of this medicine are nausea, decreased appetite, headache, dizziness, fatigue, rash, abdominal pain, and dyspepsia. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

How NORFLOX TZ TABLET Works

NORFLOX TZ TABLET is a combination of Norfloxacin and Tinidazole. Norfloxacin belongs to the fluoroquinolone that acts by stopping the multiplication of the disease-causing bacteria. Tinidazole belongs to nitroimidazole and acts against parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA.

How to use NORFLOX TZ TABLET

Take this medicine as advised by your physician. Swallow this medicine as whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects

Dizziness Or Drowsiness

Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any machines while you are feeling dizzy. Do not consume alcohol, as it can aggravate your dizziness. Contact your doctor if the dizziness does not improve.

Headache

Rest and relax. Drink plenty of fluids, such as water or electrolytes, and apply a pain-relieving balm to the head if necessary. Do not consume alcohol. Contact your doctor if the headache does not improve.

Nausea And Vomiting

Take this medicine with or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily or spicy foods. Consult your doctor if the nausea and vomiting do not improve.
