Introduction About NOCTURA SYRUP
NOCTURA SYRUP contains Melatonin which belongs to the group of medicines called Hormones. It is used for the management of jetlag (temporary sleep problem that can affect those who travel quickly across multiple time zones) in adults and sleep onset insomnia in children and adolescents aged 6-17 years suffering from attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) where other sleep routine measures have not been sufficient.
Avoid smoking as it may reduce the effect of this medicine and alcohol consumption while taking NOCTURA SYRUP as it can impair sleep and potentially worsen certain symptoms of jetlag (Ex. headache, morning fatigue and concentration).
NOCTURA SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with impaired liver or kidney function, epilepsy, autoimmune disease (where the body is attacked by its own immune system), diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance and hereditary fructose intolerance. Consult your doctor before taking it.
NOCTURA SYRUP is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age as its safety and effectiveness are not known. It should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above).
