NEFVIT PLUS Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to manage iron deficiency anemia in long-term hemodialysis (HD) patients and CKD patients. It contains Ferrous fumarate and B-vitamins complex as active ingredients that help to meet up the nutritional needs and to promote wellbeing.
Ferrous fumarate acts an iron source that helps to manage low levels of iron in blood that leads to iron deficiency anemia. Iron is an element needed for the production of red blood cells. B-complex vitamins plays a major role in managing lactic acidosis, weakness, fatigue, low homocysteine levels, and to reduce inflammations caused due to Low GFR and Dialysis. Supplementation of B-Vitamins assists to delay diabetic kidney disease progression via inhibition of vascular inflammation and endothelial cell damage. Vitamin C improves iron absorption and manages anemia.
