NAM 100MG SUSPENSION contain Nimesulide which belongs to a group of medicine called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to manage acute pain, painful osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhea.

How To Manage Side Effects
Diarrhoea:
Drink lot of fluid such as water or squash, to avoid dehydration. Do not take any other medicines without talking to a doctor.
Nausea and Vomiting:
Try taking this medicine with, or just after, a meal or snack and stick to simple meals and do not eat rich or spicy food.
Dizziness:
Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any tools or machines while you are feeling dizzy. Do not consume too much of alcohol, as it can aggravate your dizziness. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Constipation:
Eat fiber rich foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables and cereals, and drink plenty of water. Exercise more regularly.
Flatulence:
Eat smaller and frequent meals. Eat and drink slowly, and exercise regularly. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve.

Pregnancy
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in pregnant women (especially third trimester of pregnancy). Consult your doctor before taking it.
Breastfeeding
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Driving and Using Machines
Do not drive or operate any machines if you feel dizziness or vertigo, somnolence after taking NAM 100MG SUSPENSION.
Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during management with NAM 100MG SUSPENSION.
Kidney
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment. Consult your doctor before taking.
Liver
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended in patients with liver impairment. Consult your doctor before taking.
Allergy
Do not take NAM 100MG SUSPENSION if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Nimesulide or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Heart Disease
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended in patients with severe heart failure. Consult your doctor before taking.
Others
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended for use if you:
- have active gastric or duodenal ulcer
- have history of recurrent ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding
- have cerebrovascular bleeding or other active bleeding or bleeding disorders
- have severe coagulation disorders
Before taking NAM 100MG SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you:
- have gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulceration
- have ulcerative colitis, or Crohn's disease
- have bleeding diathesis
Use in pediatrics:
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking.
Use in geriatrics:
NAM 100MG SUSPENSION should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years or above). Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Interactions
A. Dru-Drug interactions:
Before taking NAM 100MG SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- warfarin (used to manage blood clot)
- acetylsalicylic acid
- furosemide
- lithium (used for mental problem)
- glibenclamide, tolbutamide (used to manage diabetes)
- theophylline (used for breathing problems)
- digoxin (used to manage heart problems)
- cimetidine, aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide (used to manage stomach ulcers)
- methotrexate (used to manage cancer)
- valproic acid (manages epilepsy)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of NAM 100MG SUSPENSION, consult your doctor immediately. Symptoms of overdose are drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, hypertension.
