    Introduction About NAILROX SOLUTION

NAILROX SOLUTION contains Ciclopirox, which belongs to the group of medicines called antifungals. It is used to manage mild to moderate fungal infections of fingernails and toenails without involvement of the nail lunula (the white half-moon of the nail) in patients with a normal immune response.

Fungal nail infections may cause nails to become thick, discoloured, fragile, cracked, and also separate from the nail bed.

Before using NAILROX SOLUTION, inform your doctor if you have diabetic neuropathy or insulin-dependent diabetes, a history of immunosuppression, fits, a history of organ transplantation, an HIV infection, tinea pedis (fungal infections of the foot), painful or seriously damaged nails, psoriasis, oedema, or breathing disorders (yellow nail syndrome). Consult your doctor before using it.

NAILROX SOLUTION should be used during pregnancy only if it is considered necessary, and it should be used with caution by breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before using it.

NAILROX SOLUTION is safe for use in children aged twelve years and older, and it should be used with caution in elderly patients above 65 years of age. Consult your doctor before using NAILROX SOLUTION.

The most common side effects of using NAILROX SOLUTION are periungual erythema (redness of the skin surrounding the nail) and erythema, or redness, of the proximal nail fold. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
