Introduction About MYCODERM C POWDER
Mycoderm-C Sandalwood Fragrance Powder is an antifungal dusting powder that is used for the management of fungal infections, prickly heat, skin irritations and diaper rash. It helps to draws up the excess sweat and refreshes you with a sandal wood fragrance. It contains clotrimazole as an active ingredient that helps to manage skin infections, reduce skin itching as well as to soothen the skin.
Clotrimazole exerts its antifungal activity by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential constituent of fungal cell membrane which helps to keep the fungal cell intact and directly promotes its growth. Inhibition of ergosterol biosynthesis damages the fungal cell integrity and leads to the inhibition of fungal growth.
Always use Mycoderm-C Sandalwood Fragrance Powder as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Clean the affected area and apply the dusting powder over the affected area (commonly affected areas are arm pit, intimate areas, skin folds, groin area and between thighs). Apply twice daily to get better results.
