Introduction About MUPIBACT OINTMENT
Mupibact Ointment belongs to topical antibiotics which is indicated for the management of primary bacterial skin infections (such as impetigo, folliculitis, furunculosis and ecthyma) and secondary bacterial skin infections (such as infected eczema, traumatic lesions, infections from minor wounds, burns and abrasions). It contains mupirocin as an active ingredient to manage bacterial skin infections.
Mupirocin works by killing the bacteria that cause skin infections by managing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for the survival of bacteria. Thereby, managing the skin infection from spreading.
Always use Mupibact Ointment as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a small quantity of ointment to cover the affected area. The managed area may be covered by a dressing as directed by the doctor.
