Introduction About MUOUT ORAL SOLUTION
Muout Oral Solution is a laxative, used to manage occasional constipation. It contains Polyethylene Glycol as an active ingredient.
Polyethylene Glycol 3350 is an osmotic laxative. It works by drawing water into the intestine to increase the stool volume and soften its consistency. Then it increases the bowel movement and makes easier to pass the stools, thus it relieves constipation.
Always use Muout Oral Solution as advised by the physician. Shake well before use. It must be diluted before use and may only be diluted in water. It is not recommended in patients with kidney disease, unless considered necessary by your doctor.

Side Effects Of MUOUT ORAL SOLUTION
Muout Oral Solution may cause nausea, bloating, stomach pain, flatulence in some individuals. Consult your doctor if you notice any unusual side effects while using Muout Oral Solution.
Safety Advice
- Always use Muout Oral Solution as advised by your physician
- For children aged 2-6 years, usual starting daily dose is 12.5ml solution diluted in 50ml of water or as directed by the doctor
- For children aged 7-11 years, usual starting daily dose is 25ml solution diluted in 100ml of water or as directed by the doctor
- For adolescents and elderly, 25ml of solution diluted in 100ml of water 1-3 times daily in divided doses, according to individual response
- For Extended use, take 1-2 doses per day of 25ml solution diluted in 100ml of water. The diluted solution should be kept covered. Throw away any solution not used within a 24hr period
- Shake well before use. Muout Oral Solution must be diluted before use and may only be diluted in water
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of its components
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking it
- Do not use if you have kidney except when it is advised by your doctor
- Before using Muout Oral Solution inform your doctor if you have or have ever had a bowel obstruction (blockage in the intestine) and if you have symptoms of bowel obstruction (upset stomach, vomiting and stomach pain or bloating)
- Tell your physician if you have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, non-prescription or herbal products
