    INTRODUCTION ABOUT MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS

    MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS is a combination of Beclomethasone, Clotrimazole, Lignocaine and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals, Local anesthetic agents and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to manage ear infections like otitis externa and chronic suppurative otitis media.

    Otitis externa is a condition that causes inflammation (redness and swelling) of the external ear canal, which is the tube between the outer ear and eardrum. Chronic suppurative otitis media is a type of ear disease where there is an ongoing chronic infection of the middle ear without an intact tympanic membrane.

    MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS is not recommended for use in patients with psychiatric illnesses, epilepsy and severe systemic infections. Contact your doctor before using. MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS should be used with caution in patients with lung, liver, kidney or heart diseases. Contact your doctor before using. MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS should be used with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding women.

    MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS is not recommended for use in children. Contact your doctor before using in children. Safety and effectiveness of MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS in geriatric patients have not been established. Contact your doctor before using. The most common side effects of this medicine are mild irritation, burning or stinging sensation in the ear. Contact your physician if any of the above symptoms worsen.

    USES OF MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS

    • Used to manage mixed ear infections like otitis externa and chronic suppurative otitis media

    HOW MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS WORKS

    MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS helps to manage infection, where Beclomethasone belongs to corticosteroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers which are responsible for pain, inflammation and allergy, Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi, while Lignocaine is an anaesthetic that blocks the sensation of pain and Neomycin is an antibiotic which inhibits the bacterial growth in the ear.

    DIRECTIONS FOR USE

    Use MIXBIOTIC EAR DROPS as advised by the physician. Instill the medicine in the affected ear with a dropper as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of infection.

    INTERACTIONS
