Introduction About MIRASMART S 50 TABLET
MIRASMART S 50 TABLET is a combination of Mirabegron and Solifenacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Urinary Antispasmodics. It is used to manage the signs of overactive bladder (such as sudden urge to pass urine, increased frequency of passing urine, unable to control urine or wetting yourself because you couldn’t go the bathroom). MIRASMART S 50 TABLET reduces the activity of an overactive bladder and enables you to wait longer before having to go to the bathroom. Try to take MIRASMART S 50 TABLET at the same time each day to achieve maximum benefits. It can be taken with or without meals.
Before taking MIRASMART S 50 TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any other problems in the bladder that obstructs urine flow or if you have glaucoma, constipation, stomach problems (such as tear or block in the gut), muscle weakness or urinary tract infections as a precaution. MIRASMART S 50 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients who are not able to pass urine (urinary retention) and in patients with severe bowel problems (such as toxic megacolon).
It is not suitable for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in children aged below 18 years. The most common side effects of taking MIRASMART S 50 TABLET are dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, nausea, abdominal fullness, stomach pain, burping, heartburn, headache and dizziness. How to use MIRASMART S 50 TABLET
Take MIRASMART S 50 TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. MIRASMART S 50 TABLET can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

- medicines used to manage fungal infections (Ex. ketoconazole, itraconazole)
- medicines used to manage viral infections (Ex. ritonavir, nelfinavir)
- medicines used to manage high blood pressure (Ex. verapamil, diltiazem)
- other anticholinergic medicines (used to increased heart rate, reduce body secretions and increase body movements) Ex. ipratropium, atropine
- medicines used to manage reflux disease (Ex. metoclopramide, cisapride)
- medicines such as bisphosphonates used to manage bone loss
- rifampicin (a medicine used to manage tuberculosis)
- medicines used to manage fits (Ex. phenytoin, carbamazepine)
- medicines used for mental illness (such as thioridazine, mesoridazine, haloperidol and chlorpromazine)
- medicines used to manage abnormal heart rhythm (such as digoxin, propafenone or flecainide, quinidine, sotalol, procainamide, ibutilide, dofetilide and amiodarone)
- medicines used for depression (Ex. imipramine or desipramine)
- dabigatran (used to reduce the risk of blood clots)
- medicines used to manage allergic rhinitis (Ex. cetirizine, levocetirizine, montelukast)
- medicines used to manage bacterial infections (Ex. pentamidine, moxifloxacin, erythromycin, clarithromycin)

If you or anyone else accidentally took more of MIRASMART S 50 TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are headache, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, hallucinations, over-excitability, seizures, difficulty in breathing, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, accumulation of urine in the bladder and dilated pupils.
