    Introduction About MIL EYE DROPS

    MIL EYE DROPS is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Naphazoline and Zinc Sulphate which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-Allergic, Astringent, Decongestant and Antiseptics respectively. It is used for the temporary relief of redness and discomfort due to minor eye irritations and relives burning and irritation caused due to dryness of the eye. Your doctor may advise you to undergo relevant tests and examinations to understand your condition.

    MIL EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma of the eye. Before using MIL EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you have hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, infection, or injury.

    MIL EYE DROPS should be used with caution in women who are pregnant and breastfeeding. MIL EYE DROPS should be used with caution in children and elderly patients. The most common side effects of MIL EYE DROPS include temporary burning and stinging upon instillation. Consult your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital if any of the side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.

    It is used to relieve:

    • redness and discomfort due to minor eye irritations
    • burning and irritation caused due to dryness of the eye

    How MIL EYE DROPS Works

    MIL EYE DROPS is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Naphazoline and Zinc Sulphate. Chlorpheniramine blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy and teary eyes. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a lubricating formulation like natural tears which provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Naphazoline belongs to decongestant that narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Zinc sulphate works as an antiseptic to clear bacterial infections in the eyes and relieve irritation.

    How to use MIL EYE DROPS

    Use MIL EYE DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Instill a few drops of the medicine into the eye as advised by your doctor. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of the infection.

    • phenelzine, isocarboxazid, selegiline (used to manage depression and anxiety)
    • atenolol, metoprolol, bisoprolol, propranolol (used to manage high blood pressure)

    Overdosage:  

    If you or anyone else accidentally uses too much of MIL EYE DROPS, rinse your eyes thoroughly with clean/lukewarm water and consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital if the symptoms worsen.
