Microshield PVP-S Solution is commonly used as an antiseptic for the skin and also used as disinfectant agent. It has board spectrum activity against Gram ve and Gram -ve bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It is used undiluted for pre and post-surgical skin antisepsis and prophylactic casualty procedures against infections of burns, lacerations and abrasions.  It spreads easily and prevents wastage since it is viscous.
