FAQs About MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE

Can MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE cause diarrhea?

Diarrhea is a common problem caused by MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE, which usually ends when the medicine is discontinued. Sometimes after starting the management, you might develop watery and bloody stools (with or without stomach cramps and fever) even as late as two or more months after having taken the last dose of MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE. If this occurs, you should tell the doctor as soon as possible.

Can MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE be used for common cold?

Patients should know that antibacterial drugs including MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE should only be used to manage bacterial infections. They should not be used to manage viral infections like the common cold. Consult your doctor for further queries.

Can I stop taking MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE if I feel better?

Do not stop taking MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE unless your doctor advises you to stop. If you stop taking it early, the infection may return. Take MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE for the full time of management, even if you begin to feel better.

What if I forget to take a dose of MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE?

If you forget to take a dose of MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE two times to make up for the missed dose. Doubling the dose to make up for a missed dose would not substitute the missing amount but increase the risk of overdosing. Consult your doctor for further queries.

Does MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE cause sensitivity to light?

Yes. Photosensitivity (light sensitivity) manifested by a worsening sunburn reaction has been observed in some patients taking MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE. Patients prone to be exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet light should know that this reaction can occur with MICRODOX DR 100MG CAPSULE or similar medicines and management should be discontinued at the first evidence of skin redness.
