Introduction About MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP

MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP is a combination of Cefixime and Ofloxacin which belong to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used in children to manage bacterial infections of the eyes, nose, throat, ears, bone, joints, skin, lungs, digestive tract and urinary tract.

MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP is also used to manage typhoid fever in children and adolescents, community acquired Pneumonia (lung infection acquired outside the hospital), fever of unknown origin and post-surgical infections.

MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP is intended for use in children so, contact your doctor before taking it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It should not be taken with dairy products such as milk, yogurt and calcium- fortified foods such as cereal juices etc. Contact your physician if you experience any unusual side effects or if any of the symptoms deteriorate.

How to use MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP

Take MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP as advised by your physician. Reconstitute the dry powder with the liquid. Shake well before use. It is better to take MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP at the same fixed time every day. Try to drink more water as it will keep the kidney hydrated and help MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP work properly.

Dose and duration of MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP management will be decided by your physician depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP unless your doctor advises you to stop.

B. Drug-Food Interactions:

MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP should not be taken with dairy products such as milk, yogurt and calcium- fortified foods such as cereal juices etc.

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose include diarrhea, abnormal stools, fever, dizziness and decreased appetite.

What if I forget to give a dose of MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP?

If you forget to give a dose of MICEF O PLUS DRY SYRUP to your child, give it as soon as you remember. However, omit the missed dose if it's almost time for the next one. Do not give the medicine two times to make up for the missed dose.
