    Introduction About METORAL 5MG TABLET

METORAL 5MG TABLET contains Metolazone which belongs to the group of medicines called Diuretics. It is used for the management of hypertension. Hypertension is defined as persistently increased blood pressure, that can show symptoms like headache, sweating, fast heartbeat, or throbbing sensation.

METORAL 5MG TABLET is also used to manage oedema accompanying congestive heart failure and renal failure. Fluid regularly drains into body tissues from the blood. When this fluid isn’t removed from the tissue, fluid retention (oedema) occurs, causing symptoms like swelling and aching of affected body parts such as feet, ankles, or hands.

Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition.

Avoid consumption of alcohol with METORAL 5MG TABLET as it may drop your blood pressure. METORAL 5MG TABLET is not recommended for patients who have an inability to urinate or electrolyte disbalance and have comatose condition due to liver cirrhosis.

Before taking METORAL 5MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have kidney disorder, rheumatism, diabetes, infection, eye problems, or you are about to have any surgery. METORAL 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult with your doctor for advice.
