Introduction About METACIN DROPS
Metacin Drops is an analgesic, antipyretic medicine that is used in infants and children to manage pain and fever. It is also given to manage post vaccination fever, relieve headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache and teething pains, sore throat, muscle pains, influenza, feverishness, and feverish colds. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient that helps to reduce pain and temperature(fever).
Paracetamol works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain (prostaglandins)that regulate pain and heat, thus helping to relieve fever and pain.
Always give Metacin Drops to your child exactly as advised by your child’s doctor. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the stated daily recommended dosages.
