Avoid consuming caffeine, tea, alcohol, or tobacco for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Also, wait for 30 minutes after exercising or bathing. Sit down in a relaxed position for at least 10 minutes before the measurement. Place the cuff on your upper arm, ensuring it is at approximately the same height as your heart. Your hand should be relaxed with the palm facing upwards. Press the START/STOP button to turn the monitor on and begin the measurement process. Remain still and do not talk or move during the measurement to ensure an accurate reading.
