    Introduction About MAXILASE 5MG TABLET

    MAXILASE 5MG TABLET contains Serratiopeptidase, which belongs to a group of medicines called Proteolytic enzymes (protease). It is used to relieve inflammation in conditions such as following surgery and trauma, engorgement of the breast, bladder, tube that carries sperm from the testes, gum tissue of the wisdom tooth, nasal sinus, tooth abscess (pus), and also used in the management of inflammation of the airways that carry air to the lungs, pulmonary tuberculosis (infection of the lungs), asthma, and following anaesthesia.

    Do not take MAXILASE 5MG TABLET if you have a gastric ulcer. Before taking this MAXILASE 5MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have or have had any kidney, liver, or heart problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before taking this medicine. MAXILASE 5MG TABLET is not recommended for use by children.

    Always take this medicine as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole with plenty of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you depending on your condition.

    How To Manage Side Effects

    Eat when you are hungry. Eat smaller meals more often than usual. Snack only when you're hungry. Eat a nutritious snack that is rich in calories and protein, such as dried fruit and nuts. Consult your doctor if the loss of appetite does not improve.

    Nausea And Vomiting

    Try to take this medicine with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy foods. Consult your doctor if the nausea and vomiting do not improve.
