INTRODUCTION ABOUT MARKAL CALAMINE LOTION
Markal Calamine Lotion is a skin protectant used to provide relief from mild skin irritation and itchiness. It also soothes sun burns and relieves skin discomfort (including skin weeping) caused due to contact with poisonous plant (Ex. poison ivy, poison oak) or due to insect bites or any underlying skin conditions. It contains Calamine as the active ingredient.
Calamine is a mild astringent with anti-itching properties. It calms skin irritation and itchiness by producing a cooling effect. It dries out the oozing blisters and protects your skin from getting damaged further.
Markal Calamine Lotion is for external use only. Gently apply this lotion on the affected skin surface, 3-4 times a day or as directed by your physician. Markal Calamine Lotion is generally safe and well tolerated.
