Introduction About MACROGOL SACHET
Macrogol Sachet is a laxative which is used in the management of constipation and fecal impaction. It contains polyethylene glycol, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride as the active ingredients.
Polyethylene glycol, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride manage the reabsorption of water, which causes water retention in the stool. As a result, the stool softens and increases the number of bowel movements.
Take Macrogol Sachet as recommended by your doctor. It is for oral use only. Disperse Macrogol Sachet in 125ml of water and stir well before drinking it. It is not recommended in patients with ileus, gastrointestinal obstruction, gastric retention, bowel perforation, toxic colitis, or toxic megacolon.
