Introduction About MAC MPS SUSPENSION
Mac-MPS Suspension is a medicine used to relieve reflex esophagitis and reflux associated with GERD. It is also used to manage sensation of heart burn. It contains Sodium Alginate, Magnesium Hydroxide, Aluminium hydroxide, and Simethicone as the active ingredients that aid in managing acidity and flatulence.
Magnesium hydroxide and Aluminium hydroxide are antacids having alkaline nature that neutralizes the acid present in stomach. Simethicone is an anti-gas agent by acting as a surfactant to decrease the surface tension of gas bubbles in the GIT, thereby allowing the exit of the gas.
Always take Mac-MPS Suspension exactly as advised by the doctor. It is recommended only for oral administration. Take one to two teaspoonful of Mac-MPS Suspension half to one hour after meal or whenever the symptoms are pronounced or as advised.
Do not take more than ten teaspoonful in 24 hours. Do not take Mac-MPS Suspension for more than two weeks at a stretch. Consult doctor if you notice any side effects after taking Mac-MPS Suspension.
