Introduction About LUPIDINE 5% OINTMENT
Lupidine 5% Ointment is an antiseptic solution used to manage skin infections from minor cuts, wounds, scraps and burns. It can also be used to sterilize skin areas prior to minor surgeries or any medical procedures. It contains povidone-iodine as the active ingredient.
Povidone-Iodine is an antimicrobial agent. It rapidly penetrates the cell wall of the microorganisms and disrupts their cell structure, leading to cell death. Therefore, it manages the infection from spreading further and helps in faster healing.
Use Lupidine 5% Ointment as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Gently apply the desired amount of the ointment on the wound areas. Before using Lupidine 5% Ointment consult your doctor if you have thyroid problems or any other skin conditions as a precaution.
