    Introduction About LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM

    LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM is a combination of Clobetasone, Miconazole and Zinc sulphate which belongs to a group of medicines known as Corticosteroids, Antifungal and Minerals respectively. It helps to reduce the redness, swelling and itchiness of certain fungal and bacterial infections of skin.

    Fungal infections may occur anywhere in the hands, feet, outer ear, trunk or groin area characterised by itchiness, scaly skin, redness and swelling. It is also effective against the infected nappy rash (skin infection caused by using wet and dirty nappy for long time).

    LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM should be used with caution during pregnancy and in breast-feeding woman. Consult your doctor for advice.

    Avoid direct contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

    LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 12years of age. Consult your doctor for advice.

    The most common side effects of this medicine include application site reactions burning, irritation, itching, and redness. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen.

    How LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM Works

    LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM is a combination of Clobetasone and Miconazole which manage skin infections. Clobetasone blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Miconazole belongs to antifungals which stops the growth of fungi by managing them from forming their own protective covering. Zinc sulphate acts as a topical astringent which cleanses the skins and locks the moisture content.

    Use LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash the infected area and apply the medicine over the infected part and surrounding area.

    Side Effects Of LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM

    Common

    • burning, irritation, itching and redness (application site reactions)

    Rare

    Stop using LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

    • worsening of skin conditions and generalised rash or swelling of skin
    • swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat, difficulty in swallowing or breathing, itchy rash (hives), burning sensation, reactions

    Skin rash:

    Try to avoid hot showers because it may cause skin irritation. Avoid frequent contact and rubbing over the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. If this symptom does not get better, speak to a doctor.

    Allergy

    Others

    LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM is not recommended for use if you:

    • have infected skin
    • have acne
    • have severe flushing of skin on and around your nose (rosacea)
    • skin itchiness which is not inflamed

    Before using LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM, inform your doctor if you:

    • have a chronic leg ulcer
    • have been advised by your doctor to use LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM under an occlusive dressing (including a child’s nappy)

    Use in pediatrics:

    LOZEE M 0.05+2+2.5 CREAM is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor for advice.
