Introduction About LOGIDRUF S LOTION
LOGIDRUF S LOTION is a combination of Coal tar, and Salicylic acid which belongs to a group of medicines known as Keratolytics and Keratoplastics respectively. It is used to manage conditions such as dandruff, psoriasis of scalp, psoriasis, neuro dermatitis, hyper keratotic skin conditions, keratoderma, seborrhaeic dermatitis and acne.
LOGIDRUF S LOTION is not recommended for use in infected, damaged or open skin, or blisters filled with pus (pustules). LOGIDRUF S LOTION should be used with caution in patients having broken or inflamed skin. LOGIDRUF S LOTION is not recommended for use during first trimester of pregnancy and should be used with caution in breast-feeding woman.
LOGIDRUF S LOTION is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 12 years of age. The most common side effects of this medicine are scalp irritation, skin conditions like acne and staining of cloth, skin, and hair. Consult your doctor if the side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.

It is used to manage:

How LOGIDRUF S LOTION Works
LOGIDRUF S LOTION effectively reduces scalp conditions where Coal tar works by decreasing the keratinocyte (type of skin cell which is increased in disease conditions) proliferation through inhibition of DNA which is necessary for the cell growth and multiplication. Salicylic acid works by softening the scaly patches and causes shedding of the outer layer of the affected scalp region.
How to use LOGIDRUF S LOTION
Use LOGIDRUF S LOTION exactly as your doctor has told you. It is for external use only. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Wash your hands before and after use. Massage LOGIDRUF S LOTION in the wet scalp and rinse it. Apply and massage for 5minutes, rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid contact with eyes.

Stop using LOGIDRUF S LOTION and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- allergic reactions like rash, swelling of the face or mouth, or breathing difficulties
- eye irritation
- unusual hair loss or hair thinning
- eczema or itchiness with skin rash
- sunlight sensitivity
- skin irritation with dryness, redness, itchiness, and burning sensation
- rash, pain or swelling at the application site
How To Manage Side Effects

Skin rash Or Itching
Try to avoid hot showers because it may cause skin irritation. Avoid frequent contact and rubbing over the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. If this symptom does not get better, consult your doctor.

Before using LOGIDRUF S LOTION, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- chlorothiazide, chlorthalidone (medicines used to excrete excess body fluid)
- tetracyclines, doxycycline, minocycline (used to manage bacterial infections)
- phenothiazines (used to reduce anxiety, fear, tension)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally used too much of LOGIDRUF S LOTION, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are skin irritation, and increased sensitivity to sunlight.
