Introduction About LAXAN SOLUTION
Laxan Solution is a laxative used to manage constipation. It is also used to manage portal systemic encephalopathy and salmonellosis. It contains lactulose as an active ingredient that helps in softening the stools and reduces the amount of ammonia in the blood.
Lactulose helps in making the stools softer and easier to pass. It draws the water into the bowel which causes softening of stools. Also, it reduces the amount of ammonia from the blood by drawing them into colon, where it is removed by the body, thus helps to manage portal systemic encephalopathy.
Always take Laxan Solution as advised by the doctor. Use a measuring cup to properly measure the dose. Take 15 to 45ml of this solution a day to relieve constipation. Take 30 to 45ml of this solution thrice daily to manage portal systemic encephalopathy. Take 30 to 90ml of this solution a day to manage salmonellosis. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
