Lactiz Granules is a laxative that is used to manage constipation. It contains ispaghula and lactitol as active ingredients.
Lactitol is an osmotic laxative that increases faecal volume and stimulates peristalsis (contractions) in the colon, leading to an increase in bowel movements. Ispaghula works by increasing the bulk of stools by increasing their water content, which helps trigger bowel movements and relieve constipation.
