    Introduction About KERALIN OINTMENT

KERALIN OINTMENT is a combination of Hydrocortisone, Benzoic acid and Salicylic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antimicrobials and Keratolytic agents respectively. It is used for hyperkeratotic (thickening of the skin's outer layer) skin lesions like ringworm, chronic dry eczema, cracked heels, warts, and corns, lichenification (thickened, hardened areas of skin), and psoriasis.

During the management, your doctor might regularly examine your skin to avoid any untoward side effects.

Do not smoke or go near naked flames due to the risk of severe burns. KERALIN OINTMENT is not recommended for use in skin conditions like athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), chickenpox (varicella) or shingles (Herpes zoster), cold sores (Herpes simplex), impetigo, ringworm, or thrush, infected lesions, ulcerative conditions, red appearance on the face, peri-oral dermatitis, or acne.

KERALIN OINTMENT is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless specifically directed by your doctor.

KERALIN OINTMENT should be used with caution in children above 2 years of age and in elderly patients.
