Introduction About IZT TABLET
IZT Tablet is an iron supplement used to correct iron deficiency anemia and anemia caused due to excessive blood loss. It can also be used to correct anemia caused due to hook worm infestations. It contains Iron, Folic acid, Vitamin B12 and Zinc as the key ingredients.
Iron is an essential micronutrient that gives the red blood cells the reddish brown colour and the capacity to transport oxygen. Vitamin B12 and Folic acid improves the production of red blood count within the body which may help in reducing tiredness and other signs caused due to low RBC count in blood. Collectively, they act together and correct anemia by improving the levels of haemoglobin and red blood cell count in blood. They are also essential to maintain a healthy nervous system and manages birth defects if taken by women planning to become pregnant.
Studies have shown that zinc helps in better absorption of iron, especially in people with gut disorders or kidney disorders. It also reduces the gut problems caused by iron, boosts immunity and promotes a faster wound healing.
Always take IZT Tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosages.
