    Introduction About ITIN SHAMPOO

    ITIN SHAMPOO contains Ivermectin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiparasitic agents. It is used for the management of head lice and parasitic infections by killing the insects in the scalp and hair that causes infection in the scalp.

    Before using ITIN SHAMPOO inform your doctor if you are using any medicines including cosmetic products. This medicine is normally effective in one or two applications and it is safe and effective for itching and irritation caused by lice.  

    ITIN SHAMPOO should be used with caution in pregnant and breast-feeding women only if advised by the doctor. Consult your doctor before using ITIN SHAMPOO.  

    The most common side effect of using ITIN SHAMPOO is application site reactions (such as burning, irritation, itching and redness). Consult your physician if any of the side effects worsen.

    How ITIN SHAMPOO Works

    ITIN SHAMPOO works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death of insects in the scalp and hair that cause infection in the scalp.

    How to use ITIN SHAMPOO

    Use ITIN SHAMPOO as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Use only on the hair and scalp. Apply ITIN SHAMPOO on the dry hair and closest to the scalp first and then outwards to the ends of the hair. Leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse the hair completely with warm water. Later comb hair with a fine-toothed comb to remove the dead lice. Duration will be decided by your physician depending upon the severity of the condition or infection.

    Itching at application site:

    Avoid hot showers because hot water can irritate the scalp further. Do not scratch the affected area. Consult your doctor if itching worsens.
