Introduction About ITANOL DUSTING POWDER
Itanol Dusting Powder is an antifungal powder used to manage skin infections caused by dermatophytes (fungus), Candida species and non-dermatophyte moulds. It contains itraconazole as an active ingredient which helps reducing fungal infection of the skin.
Itraconazole inhibits the synthesis of certain essential components of the fungal cell membrane, resulting into increased cellular permeability that causes leaking of cellular contents. Moreover, it also impairs various important biological processes inside the fungal cell body that are required for its survival, thereby killing the fungal cells.
Always use Itanol Dusting Powder as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Clean and wipe to dry the affected area before applying the powder. Sprinkle enough Itanol Dusting Powder over the infected area. Avoid rubbing it and contacting it with the eyes, mouth, nose, and ears.
