Introduction About INTAFOL TABLET
Intafol Tablet is a nutritional supplement used for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetes (nerve damage causing tingling and numbness, pain, muscle weakness, etc.), and hyperhomocysteinemia with lower extremity ulceration (increased amount of homocysteine in the blood).
Intafol Tablet contains Calcium L-5 Methyltetrahydrofolate, Methylcobalamin, and Pyridoxal 5 phosphate as active ingredients that play an important role in enhancing nerve health.
Methylcobalamin enhances protein synthesis in nerve cells, promotes the formation of the myelin sheath (outer coating of neurons), restores the levels of neurotransmitters (important chemicals in the brain), and reduces the levels of homocysteine (an amino acid).
Calcium L-5 Methyltetrahydrofolate provides folic acid which is involved in various physiological processes and helps in the formation of nucleic acid. Pyridoxal 5 phosphate acts as a coenzyme in various enzymatic reactions and amino acid metabolism.
Always take Intafol Tablet as directed by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have vitamin B12 deficiency anemia, kidney problems, or liver problems before taking it. Intafol Tablet is safe for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women but always consult your doctor before taking it. Do not give it to your child without consulting your doctor.
