Introduction About HYDROGEN PEROXIDE SOLUTION
Hydrogen peroxide solution is a mild antiseptic that is used to clean minor cuts, scrapes, burns, and wounds. It can also be used as a mouth rinse to help remove mucus and to relieve minor mouth irritations (cold sores and gingivitis). It contains hydrogen peroxide as an active ingredient.
Hydrogen peroxide has antiseptic and oxidizing properties and causes the destruction of common microorganisms, which infect the wound. It works by releasing oxygen, causing foaming on the affected area, which helps to remove dead skin cells and clean the area.
Always use a hydrogen peroxide solution as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
