Introduction About HOMO 16N TABLET
Homo-16 N Tablet is a nutritional supplement used in adults to manage peripheral neuropathies including diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage occurring over time due to diabetes). It contains Alpha Lipoic Acid, Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine as active ingredients that help in enhancing the health of nerves and muscles.
Alpha Lipoic acid is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent which helps in minimizing oxidative stress due to free radicals and inflammation in the nerves. Folic acid aids in repair of nerve injury by promoting Schwann cells (cells that form protective covering over nerve cells) multiplication and secretion of nerve growth factors.
Methylcobalamin acts by aiding in replenishment of vitamin B12 levels which supports the regeneration of damaged nerves in the body. Pyridoxine plays an essential role in synthesis of myelin sheath (protective covering on the nerves) and certain nerve chemicals, thereby promoting nerve protection and functioning.
