Introduction About GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE
GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE is a combination of Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Menaquinone, and Soy Isoflavones, which belong to the group of medicines called Vitamins, Minerals, and Nutrients, respectively. It is used to manage post-menopausal osteoporosis and to reduce the risk of osteoporosis in women.
Menopause is the time that marks the natural end of reproductive age for a woman, along with the cessation of the menstrual cycle and a decline in reproductive hormone levels in the body. It is characterized by symptoms such as bone loss (postmenopausal osteoporosis), irregularity in periods, vaginal dryness, hot flashes, chills, night sweats, and sleep problems.
Osteoporosis is a condition that causes the thinning and weakening of bones because of the excessive absorption of calcium from the bones. It is characterized by symptoms such as bleeding gums, weak grip strength, brittle fingernails, loss of height, frequent fractures, and neck and back pain.
GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE is not recommended for use if you have high levels of calcium in your blood, have metastatic calcification (extra deposits of calcium in your body), or are not well because of high levels of vitamin D in your body.
GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE should be used with caution by pregnant and breastfeeding women. It should be used with caution in children (under 12 years of age) and elderly patients (aged 65 or older). Consult your doctor before taking it.
The common side effects associated with the use of GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE are diarrhea, constipation, an upset stomach, and abdominal pain. Contact your doctor or a nearby hospital if any of the conditions worsen.
Uses Of GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE
- To manage post-menopausal osteoporosis
How GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE Works
GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE helps in managing bone weakening, where calcitriol plays a very important role in aiding the absorption of calcium by acting on certain gut cells to increase the production of calcium transport proteins, whereas calcium carbonate acts by directly increasing the calcium stores in the body.
Magnesium oxide reduces the activity of bone-resorbing cells and improves the activity of bone-depositing cells. Vitamin K activates the calcium-binding actions of two proteins (the matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin), which helps in enhancing calcium absorption in the body, thereby increasing mass and strength. Soy isoflavones mimic the actions of estrogen, which is a hormone needed for calcium deposition in the bones, thereby reversing bone loss.

Take GEOMAX D3 FEM SOFTGEL CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water with food. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
