GENTAMIDE DM EYE DROPS is a combination of Dexamethasone and Gentamycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Steroids and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to manage bacterial infections including conjunctivitis, keratitis and blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids).
Before using GENTAMIDE DM EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, lung or heart disease. GENTAMIDE DM EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant and breast-feeding women only if advised by the doctor.

Dexamethasone is a steroid which manages inflammation by inhibiting the action of the substances that causes inflammation.
How to use GENTAMIDE DM EYE DROPS
Use GENTAMIDE DM EYE DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Do not touch the tip of the dropper on any surface. Squeeze the dropper gently, then dispense the medication inside the lower eyelid or ear. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, disease condition and body weight. Random or prolonged use of GENTAMIDE DM EYE DROPS can cause cataract, glaucoma and fungal infections.

- medicines used to manage arthritis (Ex. probenecid)
- medicines used to manage asthma (Ex. theophylline)
- anticoagulants such as warfarin (used to manage blood clots)
- live bacterial vaccines (Ex. measles, mumps, rubella)
Overdosage:
