How FORZID TZ INJECTION Works
FORZID TZ INJECTION aids in the management of a variety of infections. Ceftazidime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits penicillin-binding proteins, which are essential for bacterial survival. This leads to the destruction of the bacterial cell wall and, hence, the bacteria. Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor, which interacts with an enzyme called beta-lactamase and protects the efficiency of ceftazidime against bacteria.
