Key Composition

- Tamsulosin
Uses Of FLODART PLUS CAPSULE
- Manages signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men
Benefits of FLODART PLUS CAPSULE
- Helps manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) such as difficulty in urination, frequent urges to urinate, and incomplete bladder emptying.
- Combines two active ingredients (Dutasteride and Tamsulosin) that work synergistically: Dutasteride reduces the size of the enlarged prostate by inhibiting hormones responsible for growth, while Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder to improve urine flow.
- Supports reduction in urinary frequency, urgency, and nighttime urination, enhancing overall comfort.
- May lower the risk of urinary retention and decrease the likelihood of needing surgical intervention for BPH.
- Contributes to improved quality of life by easing urinary symptoms related to prostate enlargement.
- Convenient once-daily oral capsule that can be integrated into routine healthcare practices as advised by doctors.
How FLODART PLUS CAPSULE Works
- Dutasteride: It inhibits the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone responsible for prostate gland enlargement. By lowering DHT levels, Dutasteride helps reduce the size of the enlarged prostate over time.
- Tamsulosin: This is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker that relaxes the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, allowing easier urine flow and reducing urinary symptoms such as difficulty, urgency, or weak stream.
The combined effect of these two components helps alleviate symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as frequent urination and incomplete bladder emptying, while reducing the risk of urinary retention. This dual-action approach improves urinary comfort and overall quality of life for patients with prostate enlargement.
