Introduction About FIXON POWDER
Fixon Powder is a denture adhesive used to hold denture securely all day long and manage food particles from going underneath the denture surface. It contains carboxy methyl cellulose as an active ingredient which holds the denture securely and manages food particles from slipping in between denture and gums.
Carboxy methyl cellulose is an emulsifier which increases retention of denture by absorbing water and increasing the viscosity that leads to increased adhesive and cohesive properties of Fixon powder thus eliminating voids between denture base and oral tissue and securing denture to the gums.
Use Fixon powder as directed as advised by your physician. Slightly wet the denture and sprinkle Fixon powder on the denture surface. Insert the denture and hold it firmly by biting for few seconds to secure the denture in place.
