Introduction About FEPANIL 100MG ORAL DROPS
Fepanil Drops is an analgesic and antipyretic medicine that is used in children to manage pain and fever. It also helps to relieve headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache and teething pains, sore throat, influenza, feverishness, and feverish colds. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient which blocks the pain and fever causing mechanism in the body.
Paracetamol works by blocking the production of a chemical called prostaglandins, responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body. It reduces fever by its action on an area of the brain that is responsible for regulating the body temperature.
Always give Fepanil Drops to your child exactly as advised by your child’s doctor. It is for paediatric use (1-12 months). Shake well before use. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosages. Before giving Fepanil Drops inform your child’s doctor if /he or she has liver or kidney diseases, fructose, or any other sugar intolerance. Do not give this medicine to your child if he/she is allergic to paracetamol or has taken any other medicines containing paracetamol.
