FENLONG MR LINIMENT works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase activity, which in turn manages the production of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators, thus reducing pain and inflammation. Menthol causes a cooling sensation that helps reduce pain in the tissues just below the surface of the skin.
Mephenesin is a centrally acting muscle relaxant; it works by blocking the neuromuscular agents, thus inducing muscle relaxation. Methyl salicylate causes irritation and skin reddening as a result of dilated capillaries and increased blood flow, which relieves musculoskeletal discomfort in the muscles, joints, and tendons.
