    Introduction About FAMOCID 20MG INJECTION

FAMOCID 20MG INJECTION contains Famotidine which belongs to a group of medicines called Histamine (H2) antagonists. It is indicated in some hospitalized patients with pathological hypersecretory conditions (Ex. Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, multiple endocrine adenomas) or intractable ulcers.

It is also used as an alternative to the oral dosage forms for short term management of active duodenal ulcer, active benign gastric ulcer or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) is a digestive disease in which stomach acid or bile irritates the food pipelining due to acid reflux.
