EYETAMIN TOTAL Tablet is a total ocular nutritional supplement consists of antioxidants used for eye health. It consists of Ascorbic Acid, Cholecalciferol, Docosahexaenoic Acid, Eicosapentaenoic Acid, Ginkgo biloba Extract, Green Tea Extract, L-Glutamic Acid, Lycopene, Tocopherol and Zinc Oxide as active ingredients.
Omega 3 fatty acids (Docosahexaenoic Acid and Eicosapentaenoic Acid) contributes to better eye health. DHA is especially helpful since there are high levels of it present in the retina of the eye. Omega-3 fatty acids have proved beneficial for several aspects of ocular health. Ascorbic acid is an antioxidant and water-soluble vitamin which plays an important role in connection tissue formation. Cholecalciferol helps in overall eye health. L-glutamic acid is an amino acid used to form proteins which helps nerve cells in the brain send and receive information from other cells. Lycopene was found to be the only carotenoid that has been shown in different studies to protect ocular health, helping to reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration.
