    Introduction About EYESEC EYE DROPS

    EYESEC EYE DROPS contains Rebamipide which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton pump inhibitors and Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents. It is used to manage dry eyes.

    Dry eye disease is a common condition that occurs when tears can’t provide adequate lubrication for eyes, tear instability leads to inflammation and damage of the eye's surface.

    Symptoms include stinging, burning or scratchy sensation in eyes, stringy mucus in or around eyes, sensitivity to light, eye redness, difficulty wearing contact lenses and nighttime driving, blurred vision or eye fatigue.

    Before using EYESEC EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you are using contact lenses. Consult your doctor for advice.

    Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Safety and effectiveness of EYESEC EYE DROPS in children has not been established yet.

    The most common side effects of using EYESEC EYE DROPS are bitter taste, eye irritation, eye pruritus, and blurred vision. Consult your doctor if side effects worsen.

    How EYESEC EYE DROPS Works

    EYESEC EYE DROPS has an anti-inflammatory action, mucin secreting, tear film stability, and conjunctival healing, increasing the goblet cell counts (cells secreting mucous). Thus, acting as natural tears, provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

    How to use EYESEC EYE DROPS

    Use EYESEC EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid. Make sure you wash your hands and do not touch any surface while using it. Apply pressure to the corner of the eye for 1-5 minutes and wipe off the extra liquid. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

    Rare

    Stop using EYESEC EYE DROPS and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

    Do not use EYESEC EYE DROPS if you are allergic to Rebamipide or any other ingredients of this medicine.
