Introduction About ETINAP PLUS TABLET
ETINAP PLUS TABLET is a combination of Escitalopram and Etizolam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants and Anxiolytics respectively. It is used to manage depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, major depressive episodes, panic disorder, anxiety disorder and insomnia.
ETINAP PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with myasthenia gravis, acute angle-closure glaucoma, sleep disorder and porphyria. Contact your doctor before taking. Before taking ETINAP PLUS TABLET inform your doctor if you have lung, liver or kidney disease or heart disease. Contact your doctor before taking. ETINAP PLUS TABLET is not recommended in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Contact your doctor before taking.
Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and disease condition. Contact your doctor before taking. ETINAP PLUS TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients aged 65 years or above. Contact your doctor before taking. The most common side effects of this medicine are confusion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, memory impairment, drowsiness and tiredness. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

How ETINAP PLUS TABLET Works
ETINAP PLUS TABLET is a combination of Escitalopram and Etizolam. Escitalopram increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood. Etizolam increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
How to use ETINAP PLUS TABLET
Take ETINAP PLUS TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow this medicine as whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects
Diarrhea
Drink lots of fluids, such as water or fruit juices to keep you hydrated. Do not take any medicine on your own for managing diarrhoea. Contact your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Dizziness Or Drowsiness
Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operate any machines while you are feeling drowsy. Contact your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Nausea And Vomiting
Take this medicine with, or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily or spicy foods.

Driving and Using Machines

Lungs
Consult your doctorETINAP PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe respiratory failure. It should be used with caution in patients with history of lung insufficiency. Contact your doctor before taking.
Heart Disease
Use with CautionETINAP PLUS TABLET should be used with caution in patients with recent history of myocardial infarction or unstable heart disease. Contact your doctor before taking.

Before taking ETINAP PLUS TABLET inform your physician if you are taking the following medicine:
- monoamine oxidase inhibitor, lithium (used to manage depression)
- triptans, sumatriptan (used to manage migraine)
- CNS depressants phenothiazines, barbiturates
- NSAIDS, aspirin (used to relieve pain)
- warfarin (manages blood clot)
- cimetidine (used to manage ulcers)
- digoxin (used to manage heart problems)
- pimozide (manages psychotic disorders)
- theophylline (manages breathing conditions)
- carbamazepine (used to manage seizures)
- triazolam (used to manage insomnia)
- ketoconazole (used to manage fungal infections)
- ritonavir (used to manage HIV infection)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally took too much of this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Symptoms of overdose are convulsions, dizziness, hypotension, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, somnolence, and ECG changes.
