Introduction About ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE
ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE contains Simethicone which belongs to the group of medicines called Digestants. It is used to provide relief from bloating (gas) and other unpleasant symptoms associated with accumulation of excess gas in the stomach (such as stomach discomfort or pain, sense of fullness, pressure in the stomach etc.).
ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE should be taken at least 10 minutes before meals. Before taking ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have thyroid problems, high blood calcium levels or phenylketonuria. ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE is considered safe for use both in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
The most common side effect of taking ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE are nausea, vomiting, constipation and diarrhea. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect troubles you.

ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE is a surfactant medicine with anti-gas properties. It works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract. This action helps in eliminating the accumulated gas from the gut region along with bowel movements. It also manages further accumulation of gas in the gut.
How to use ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE
Take ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It should be taken at least 10 minutes before meals.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Alcohol
Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE.

Allergy
Talk to your doctor before taking ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE if you are allergic to Simethicone.
Others
ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE is not recommended for use if you:
- have phenylketonuria (build-up of an amino acid called phenylalanine in the body)
- have hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels)
- have hypercalciuria (increased calcium in urine)
- are being managed for thyroid problems
Use in pediatrics:
ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE should be used in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) only if prescribed by the physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
Use in geriatrics:
ESPUMISAN GOLD CAPSULE should be used with caution in elderly patients. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
