Introduction About ENTROZYME OLD TABLET
ENTROZYME OLD TABLET is a combination of Diastase and Pepsin which belongs to the group of medicines called Digestives, respectively. It is used to manage indigestion and dyspepsia which occurs as an upper abdominal discomfort associated with burning sensation/bloating after having food in affected individuals.
ENTROZYME OLD TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to diastase and pepsin. Before taking ENTROZYME OLD TABLET, inform your doctor if you suffer from peptic ulcer (without complications), chronic pancreatic disease (inflammation of pancreas), diabetes, and/or liver problems (such as liver cirrhosis).
ENTROZYME OLD TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women only if it is clearly necessary. It is also advised to be used with caution in breastfeeding women. The medicine is also advised to be used with caution in children & adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elders after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking ENTROZYME OLD TABLET are dizziness, loss of appetite, unpleasant taste, nausea, and/or increased thirst. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.

ENTROZYME OLD TABLET provides relief from indigestion and dyspepsia, where pepsin relives digestive disturbance by breaking down proteins and alleviating impaired production of gastric juice and diastase aids in digestion by breaking down carbohydrates from food providing relief from indigestion and dyspepsia in affected individuals.
How to use ENTROZYME OLD TABLET
Take ENTROZYME OLD TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects
Dizziness:
Try to rest and get enough sleep. Try to avoid driving or operating any tools or machines while you feel dizzy. Limit consumption of alcohol, as it can aggravate dizziness. Consult and inform your doctor if the symptom worsens.
Nausea:
Take ENTROZYME OLD TABLET with/just after a meal. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oil rich/spicy foods, sugary snacks and drinks. Avoid drinking too much liquid along with your meals, and drink slowly in between meals. Consult your doctor if the condition worsens.

Pregnancy
ENTROZYME OLD TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women only if it is clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
Breastfeeding
ENTROZYME OLD TABLET should be used with caution in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
Liver
ENTROZYME OLD TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver problems such as liver cirrhosis. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
Allergy
Do not take ENTROZYME OLD TABLET if you are allergic to Pespsin, Diastase, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Others
Before taking ENTROZYME OLD TABLET, inform your doctor if you:
- suffer from peptic ulcer without complications
- have chronic pancreatic disease (inflammation of pancreas)
